Dear Parents, Guardians and Students, The school would be initiating a small online programme for the SS 1 and 2 students from the 17th of June 2020. This programme aims to keep students active and prepare them for prospective resumption after the Covid-19 pandemic academic lockdown.

What it's about

Title: Agape Start your Notes Programme Details: Via the school's short site, (cutt.ly/salbasiagape) students in the above stated classes can view or download their 3rd term's schemes and notes then, begin to copy in their books. The notes will then, be used during the 2020 third term academic session.

Relevance of the Programme

1. It will keep the students active and prepare them for resumption: The main aim of the programme is to keep students active and prepare them for resumption. 2. Help to reduce work after resumption: As we are unsure when schools would resume fully, we have taken the initiative to start up as best we can so that when schools do resume, we would be able to meet up with the expected compressed schedule. 3. Provide the students with materials for self study: as students remain at home, it's important that they practice their work before hand, and this is a good way to make sure they get the right materials.

Possible flaws and proposed solutions.

As we have looked into the advantages of this programme, we are not ignorant of the fact that, it may have some short comings; 1. Not every student can afford to go online - As we are aware that some of our students may not be able to get online, we also know that they keep in touch and as many as possible can get the materials and pass them on to others physically. 2. Not every student will be willing to participate - That some students will deliberately not participate is no mystery, which is why participation will be rewarded (Extra Points/Marks) when school does resume. 3. How to get materials - The national curriculum will be used as usual and because of the tight schedule of staffs, updates on specific subjects would be released once or twice a week. 4. Availability of resources - Note that, notes may not be available for all subjects. Subjects like mathematics or physics which comprise of complex calculations, only schemes maybe available. Also, due to other unforseen circumstances, some subjects may not be available.

Steps to follow to get your schemes and notes; 1. Go to cutt.ly/sa_resources 2. Scroll down to find your category (available categories; SS 1 Resources, SS 2 Commercial, SS 2 Science, SS 2 Art, SS 2 General) 3. After you've located your category, click on the view button directly below it. 4. You'll be directed to Salbasi Agape online servers (powered by Degoo) 5. There you'll find all the materials schemes and notes you need.

NOTE:

If something is not working or you're unable to get what you need, visit the contact page on the site and leave a message and we'll work on fixing the problem as soon as possible. The SS 2 General category consists of all subjects that are compulsory for all departments i.e subjects like mathematics, English or Economics.
